How to create Reels

The best thing to do is select a catching song and connect it to the type of content you are doing in a fun and eye catching way.

Coming up with new ideas can be quite time consuming, so here some tips on how to get you started:

1. Find a tutorial of a song/ reeltype you like

There are instagram pages posting reel tutorials. Example:

1. You can see the music is linked to the video and you should press “save this sound”, so you can use it later
2. You screenshot the information (The timeframes)
3. You enter a video editing app (Personally I recommend: InShot - A free app letting you do a lot of possibilities for free)
4. Creative part→ Add your own style (Add videos or pictures, order them, add filters etc) → make sure to stick to the timeframes of the tutorial
5. Save the newly created video and upload it as a reel, adding the previously saved sound
6. Add text and other Instagram features (Location, stickers, etc) onto the video
7. Add location and description
8. Add Feed-front-picture (Choose from galary or select a picture from the uploaded video)
9. Upload
