For this project I am selecting the topic of a travel influencer on instagram.
I want to start of the introduction of my business model with my personal most important question: What is the motivation?
-Do something that I enjoy : TRAVEL, PHOTOGRAPHY, INSTAGRAM
-Monetarize it: TRAVEL INFLUENCER ON INSTAGRAM
(→Additionally: I have collected experiences in this field already and I have friends doing travel influencing on instagram, too→ Therefore I can share personal experiences, too)
-Differentiate from the travel influencer that goes on holidays takes a lot of pictures and posts from home
→Focus on region of stay
-Benefits:
-No big budget needed
-Can build expertise over time
-Unlimited time to create content
-Showing people that plan to come to this area how to travel nicely there
-Basically a “local guidance”
-Specify on young travellers→ Often talk about prices and do not focus on luxury travel
-Show and tag beautiful locations
-Suggest activities
-Introduce your culture
-High demand depending on location
-High Competition, but people don’t usually follow just 1 account, but multiple accounts in the niche of their interest
-Other travel influencers can vary highly in content, depending on where they set their focus and how they present content
-It is good to get inspiration and to network with others
